How do you apply for your passport?You will have to complete the following steps to apply for your passport: Application: Fill out the application for a U.S. Passport (DS-11) and print (you cannot submit online) Passport Photo: Schedule an appointment to go to get your passport photo done. Some local places you can go: CVS (15 mins or less service); UPS Store*; FedEx*; USPS*; or Walgreens. Passport Office: Once you have completed the form, you will take your printed application, supporting documents, photo, and fees, in-person to a passport acceptance facility. Click Here to search for a facility near you. *TIP: Strongly recommend taking your completed application to UPS Store, FedEx, or USPS and making sure the location you choose also offers passport photoing services so you can get everything done in one place for a more seamless and efficient experience.

How long does it take to get your passport?We recommend beginning this process as soon as possible as it will take anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks of processing time. However, there is an option to pay for an expediated process which will be 2 to 3 weeks. This is not including the two weeks it will take for them to get your application and another two weeks for you to get your passport in the mail.

What documents should I bring with me to the Passport Office?When you go to the Passport facility, you should bring the following documents with you: Completed DS-11 U.S. Passport Application Original or Certified U.S. Birth Certificate (must have seal or stamp from city or state) Make and bring photocopies of your birth certificate and state identification (they will keep these with your application) Be prepared to present your ID in person. What are the hotel details?The wedding will be taking place at Secrets Royal Beach Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. As we are excited to celebrate our special day with you, remember you MUST book with our travel agent Dawn Koutsky of Wish to Wander Travel to reserve your room and attend our wedding. We have reserved a large number of guest rooms for the best group rate for everyone!

How should I reserve a room for my stay?You are all set - we have an inventory of rooms for you choose from at the time of booking at the best group rate! Make sure to make note of any special requests during booking. If you would like to upgrade to a room that is not available, please further discuss with our group travel agent as soon as possible. Note, any upgrades (ocean view, swim up, or preferred club) will change cost per person and it's based on availability at the resort.

How can I begin paying for my room?At the time of booking, you will have pay $50 to reserve your room and, in two weeks, make another $50 payment. You can go to our booking page and click "Making a Payment" when you are ready to submit a payment towards your balance. You can simply log in and pay as you go based on your monthly budget or in large payments up until your final payment deadline on 6/1/2025. If you are interested in automated payments, please explore the Uplift feature at the bottom of our booking page.

What type of rooms are available and cost?The resort offers rooms with single, double, and triple occupancy. The junior suite rooms types vary from pool view, tropical view, partial ocean view, and private pool. Also, there is an option to have a room that has a preferred club feature which unlocks additional member benefits. The starting cost for a Junior Suite Tropical View room with double occupancy will begin at $550 per person (based on three-night stay) and the cost will vary depending on room upgrades (views, occupancy, or room features).

Who are our travel planners?Your travel planners are our travel agents from the Wish To Wander Travel agency. Will our travel agent book our flights?We have guests flying in from all over the United States so all attendees will be responsible for booking their flights separately so they can find the best local deal possible! Feel free to contact our travel agent if you would like to ask for advice in finding the best price or if you will be travelling with a group (5 or more) to the resort.

Will we have airport transportation to and from resort?You can customize your booking and add on roundtrip shuttle transportation to and from airport to create a seamless travel experience for you and your guest.

What date should I RSVP by?All attendants must submit their RSVP through our booking page before December 1st, 2024 to confirm their attendance.

Can I bring extra friends or family members?Yes, this is a vacay-celebration for our nuptials, so the more, the merrier! Due to space limitations, our wedding ceremony is strictly for our invited guests and their dates or spouses. However, everyone is invited to attend our welcome cocktail hour and the wedding reception/"after party."

What is the dress code for the ceremony?We ask all guests to attend the ceremony in semi-formal or cocktail attire and we kindly request your attires to be coordinated with this color theme for our special day. Black, Gold, Blush, Dark Green, Light Brown, and Beige. Appropriate attire for MEN: slacks and button down shirts or suits (tie optional) with dress shoes or white Air Forces. Appropriate attire for WOMEN: cocktail dresses (long/short), dress bottoms and tops, or romper/jumper with dress shoes (heels, flats, wedges). See the visual example below. Unless, otherwise noted, no sneakers, jeans, tank tops, swimsuits, t-shirts, or flip-flops.

Where will wedding updates be posted?All confirmed guests will receive a passcode to our full wedding website, showcasing the complete itinerary and any recommended activities. As we get closer to the wedding, the website will be updated to include the latest wedding details. Our wedding coordinator Judith, of White Sands Travel company, will also send regular newsletter updates through email so it is important to RSVP with an email address.

Will there be other events to attend during the trip?We are working on planning 1-2 group activities during the trip, outside of the welcome reception and wedding day itinerary. However, we want everyone to enjoy their time freely without a list of obligations. Our wedding coordinator will provide a list of optional resort and tourist activities to help you plan how you would like to spend your time.

What are the wedding colors?The wedding colors are truffle (very dark chocolate) and champagne with accents of gold and modern touches.

Are kids welcome?While we love your little ones, we have decided to have our wedding festivities at an adults-only resort and, therefore, this will be an adult-only experience. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day!

Do you have a wedding registry?We're thrilled at the idea of you coming to celebrate with us - and that would be the best gift of all! If you'd like to help us spruce up our new life together, we chose not to have a wedding registry, but gift cards will be very appreciated as a wedding gift. Here are a few of our favorite places:

What is the wedding day itinerary?We are in the process of finalizing the wedding itinerary and group activities (if any). Once available, the schedule will be posted to this site for all confirmed guests and printouts will be available in your welcome bags at the resort.

What time is the wedding ceremony?The ceremony will start at 5 pm - perfect timing for the sunset!

Is the ceremony indoor or outdoor?We will be outdoors, but don't worry - this will not be a beach wedding (no sand!). The ceremony will be staged in the stone courtyard on property, and the reception party will be in an open-air restaurant.
